Charming apartment, located on the top floor of an ancient building dating from 1800 in the historic centre of Florence. Surrounded by very pleasant and characteristic craftsmen shops and typical restaurants and just a short walk from ´Pulci market´ and the historic food market of Sant Ambrogio.The most important museums, monuments, are easily accessible on foot.
The apartment has been recently restored with great care and taste and is equipped with all comforts, including airconditioning. Due to its layout, the apartment is not partìcularly recommended for families with little children.
It is on the 3th floor (no lift) and is composed of a living/dining room, going up a stair you reach a roof-terrace with exceptional view onto Cathedral, and Giotto's bell Tower , kitchenette, 1 bathroom, 2 double bedrooms, going up a flight of stairs you get to mansard with 1 bathroom and bed ( for 1 person). Comfortable fumishings and in part made up of period pieces.

The ‘Santa Croce’ district lies on the north side of the ‘Arno’ and east of the ‘Duomo’. The area surrounds the ‘Santa Croce’, a magnificent basilica in Gothic style and also one of the most beautiful churches in Florence. You can find here tombs of Michelangelo, Machiavelli and Galileo.
The shops in this area mainly offer the typical touristic goods, like Italian craftsmanship and handicraft products. For the ones who like ice-cream: You can find the best Italian ice of Florence in ‘Bar Vivoli Gelateria’ (Address: Via Isola della Strinche 7). There’s also a fantastic wine-bar called ‘Boccadama’ (Address: Piazza Santa Croche 25-26) where you, according to typical Italian traditions, get a piece of cheese along with your wine.
