How do I find my ideal apartment in the website?
That is easy. Do a search in the searchbox on the top of the website. Fill in the data you want to search on like city, day of arrival, day of departure and number of people. Click on the button 'search' and the available apartments will appear. An advanced search you can do through the buttons BUDGET, BASIC, STANDARD, COMFORT and LUXURY.

Selecting the buttons ELEVATOR, INTERNET will only show apartments with an elevator and/or internet connection.

How do I know if an apartment is available?
When you use the searchmenu in the top of the website, only the available apartments will show for the indicated period. In each apartmentpage you can see the availability calendar of that specific apartment; you can find it on the bottom of the page.

How can I reserve and book?
That will only take a few minutes. When you follow the instructions, you will be guided through the reservation process. Or visit the webpage HOW TO BOOK via the menu on the left side of this page, where you will find the info step-for-step how an online booking of an apartment exactly works.

When can I check-in and out?
Times for check-in/out are mentioned in the apartmentpage of the specific apartment. Normally the check-in time is from 15.00, while the check-out is by 11.00. Our apartment manager will always corporate if possible if you would like to have an early check-in or a late check-out. This -of course- depends on the guests before or after your stay. Please contact us with this, so we can inform you about your specific situation.

Is there a late check-in fee?
There can be a surcharge for late check-in, between 21.00-08.00. This differs per apartment; you can see the details on the apartmentpage of the specific apartment.

What is the address of the apartment?
On the maps in the website, you can find an accurate location of the apartment. The exact address details you will find in the confirmation mail which you receive after filling in the reservation form in the website and when we have received your downpayment.

How and when will I receive the keys of the apartment?
At arrival in the apartment. Our apartment manager welcomes you at the apartment, and he will handle your check-in. He will inform you about things like how the oven works, the airco/heating, the nearest supermarket, nice restaurants, etc.. During the check-in you need to do the payment, and the apartment manager will hand over the keys.

Are there any amenities for my baby?
It depends on the apartment. Often it is included in the apartment price, sometimes there is a small surcharge. Please check it in the apartmentpage of your desired apartment, or contact our Customer Service.

What amenities will I find in the apartment?
In the apartmentpage of each apartment you will find an overview of all amenities available in the apartment. EVERY apartment contains clean towels and bed linen. Just like a hotel, but then as well all necessary cooking materials.

Has the apartment been cleaned before my arrival?
Each apartment has been cleaned before the customer’s arrival. Cleaning is therefore not necessary, but you are expected to leave the apartment in reasonable state. For a surcharge the apartment can be cleaned during your stay. If you are interested in this, please mention it in the ‘comments’ field in the booking form.

What is a damage security deposit?
When arriving in the apartment, the apartment manager will handle the check-in. You pay a damage security deposit in cash and the apartment manager will set a meeting for the check-out. At that moment the apartment manager will check the apartment together with the customer to make sure everything is okay and to return the damage security deposit.

Can I cancel my booking?
Yes, you can. In case of a cancellation, the cancellation costs differ from the period between cancellation and date of arrival. When the cancellation is done more than 14 days before date of arrival, there are no cancellation costs. When the cancellation is done less than 14 days before arrival, but more than 48 hours before arrival the cancellation fee is 50% of the total amount (without cleaning costs). When the cancellation is done less than 48 hours before arrival the cancellation fee is 100% of the total amount (without cleaning costs). The prepayment is never refundable. Therefore, Touristways advices her customers to purchase travel insurance with cancellation coverage included.

May I take along my pet?
In most apartments this is not possible. When possible, you will find this in the apartment description.

Can I book extra services like an airport pickup, bikes, football tickets, etc?
Yes that is possible. In combination with an apartment reservation we can arrange extra services like an airport pickup, bike rental, babybed, taxi service, concierge service, etc.
